Y'know... I just realized that in most anime, the MC changes from a farmer to a warrior. But in farmland saga, it's the opposite baby.

well to be fare when one reads a title named Vinland Saga and reads is about Vikings and Enlishman doing war and stuff a full season so far of Farmvile + a psychological deep dive in the MC's post war trauma doesnt really pop up in peoples minds right away dont get me wrong im enjoying this but im starting to look at my clock in waiting when are we going to move from Farmvil saga to Vinland saga you know :)

Yeah!! It attracted a group of toxic fanbois. No one paid attention to what the actual story was and now they are surprised that it doesn't match thier headcanon.

Never read the manga but this makes me wonder: does thorfinn ever fight again? Because with this episode it wouldn't make sense for him to ever want to have that kind of life with violence

Thorfinn was one of first to discover Canada aka (Labrador and newfoundland). In the manga he becomes one of the greatest explorers. hence why his short uncle is looking for him

Well Vikings actually wanted fertile lands to farm cause back in their place the weather used to be very harsh for farming so it's actually historically accurate, some Norsemen used to go for plundering and the others conquered lands in England and left some of their men for farming, and it's not that bad watching Thorfinn rediscovering himself I find in rather engaging.

How about now? Can you tell how bad this season is? Everyone is super upset at this. I was just able to call it out early. You just can't tell the difference between good compelling story telling from a farmland simulation. As of ep 15 it's been farming and a side story and a half. Lol

Not sure but I know one thing, you can't tell what's good from bad. Compare this season to last, and that's all you need. I mean how many episodes do u need to let us know they are farmers and slaves?
